Gerry Stefanatos retired from Pfizer in 2018, and brings over 30 years of global pharmaceutical and medical device experience.
Gerry started his career at Abbott in their Nutrition Division. He acquired sales and marketing management experience in positions with both pharmaceutical products, in a variety of therapeutic areas, generics, legacy brands, as well as in medical devices. He moved to Hospira with Abbott’s spin off of their Hospital Products Division in 2003, which he was leading in Canada. There, he held key roles such as Vice President of Canada & Latin America Region for, and Corporate Vice President and President, of Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He then moved to Pfizer, leading Pfizer Essential Health, the entity that integrated the Hospira acquisition. Gerry has led key acquisitions and integrations, turning around several businesses in Canada as well as in International markets.
Gerry was also an Executive Board Member of MEDEC, the national association of Canada’s medical technology industry, from 2004 to 2009. Has was also a Board member of The Canadian Paralympic Foundation from 2016 to 2020.
Gerry earned a business degree at McGill University in Montréal.
